On Your Mark, Get Set, Play!

EXPECT A SPLASHING GOOD TIME at the upcoming Sports Hub Community Play Day, held in celebration of Singapore World Water Day, which aims to promote good water-saving habits. Collectively, the past seven editions of Sports Hub Community Play Day drew more than 100,000 attendees. Besides encouraging an active lifestyle, the event aims to promote family and community bonding through shared sports and sporting lifestyle experiences.

Here are the key highlights for the March event!

2nd Sports Hub – Sdba Century Dragon Boat Race

Watch, cheer and witness the excitement of Singapore’s first dragon boat race in 2018 with over 100 teams.

Tahiti Dance Fitness

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Tahiti Dance Fitness is a women-only physical training programme based on the Tahitian dance “Ori Tahiti”.

Experience Fitness By Spark Connections

This is Sports Hub first-ever Water Bottle Fitness workout. The first 500 participants will receive a Sports Hub water bottle with mist spray.

This is Sports Hub first-ever Water Bottle Fitness workout. The first 500 participants will receive a Sports Hub water bottle with mist spray.

There will also be water conservation and educational interpretive booths where attendees can pledge to save water and learn about the 5 Water Saving Tips. In addition, there will be an unveiling ceremony of the Wetlands at Singapore Sports Hub. You can sign up to be part of Dragonfly Watch, a citizen science initiative to involve the community in collecting valuable information about dragonflies and damselflies in our parks, gardens and reserves, on that day.
