A Stadium Like No Other: Week 1 Highlights at the National Stadium Experience (5–11 January 2026)

There’s something special about the National Stadium — the energy, the scale, the sense of possibility. This January, The Kallang invites you to experience it like never before at the National Stadium Experience, happening from 5 to 18 January 2026.

Across two action-packed weeks, the stadium transforms into a vibrant playground of sport, movement, creativity and family fun. Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast, a parent planning school-holiday activities, or simply looking for a unique way to spend your day, there’s something here for everyone.

Here’s a look at what you and your family can look forward to in Week 1 (5–11 January).

Run the Track Where Legends Compete: Running Track Access

Mon – Thurs: 5pm – 9pm

Fri: 4pm – 9pm

Sat & Sun: 9am – 9pm

Ever wondered what it feels like to run on a world-class track? Here's your chance. One of the most anticipated highlights is the access to the running track, following its successful trial in June 2025. During the National Stadium Experience, the track will be open to the public, giving everyone the rare opportunity to jog, sprint or stroll on the same grounds that host international sporting events and concerts.

For teaching assistant and runner Ngor Cheng En, the 27-year-old was exhilarated to head down to the National Stadium at The Kallang, wasting no time in sharing the news with his running group, SSTAR Fitness, “It’s great here, since it’s an indoor stadium, it’s all-weather, and the big fans keep it quite cool. Running in the National Stadium just feels different. There’s a novelty factor.”

Big Fun for Little Ones: Inflatable Playground

10 & 11 Jan | 9am – 9pm

Let the kids burn off their energy with the inflatable playground, set against the iconic backdrop of the National Stadium. From climbing and sliding to bouncing and tumbling, it’s non-stop fun for the young ones — and a guaranteed hit with families, like parent Jade Zheng’s.

“It’s a very good place for them to run safely. It’s enclosed, and there are security personnel all around,” she said. “They should really maximise this space more. I’ll definitely be back - it’s very close to me.”
