Welcome to this week of Sports Hub Stars, our weekly segment where we feature visitors of the Singapore Sports Hub and share their stories! This week we met Yao Xiang and Han Feng taking a run at the Promenade at National Stadium to supplement their regular training.

ARE YOU FOLLOWING A STRICT DIET?
I don’t follow a strict diet, but I generally try to limit how much junk food I eat.
WHAT IS YOUR FITNESS REGIME?
I have swimming training about 2-3 times a week, in addition to going to the gym or running 2-3 times a week as well. I try to stay active at least once a day, to any level of intensity.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SINGAPORE SPORTS HUB FACILITY, AND COULD YOU PLEASE TELL US WHY?
I personally love the OCBC Aquatic Centre. I used to train there with the National Water Polo Team every day. It was the first world class facility in Singapore with multiple pools, so I think younger Singaporeans are extremely fortunate to have such an amazing facility available.

ARE YOU FOLLOWING A STRICT DIET?
I don’t eat particularly healthily; I just try to avoid excessive junk food as well.
WHAT IS YOUR FITNESS REGIME?
Yao Xiang is my trainer! I go to the gym for strength training with him 3 times a week, in addition to 2 runs a week.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SINGAPORE SPORTS HUB FACILITY, AND COULD YOU PLEASE TELL US WHY?
I’d say the Promenade at the National Stadium is my favourite. I run here often while waiting for my daughter to finish her gymnastics training in Kallang Wave Mall.
