The Sports Hub Library is one of the most unique bastions of knowledge and learning in Singapore. If you’re thinking, “there’s a library in Singapore Sports Hub?” Yes, the Singapore Sports Hub isn’t just for exercising and trying out new sports. It’s also where you can learn about sports and active recreation, and a great place to start if you’d like to discover Singapore’s rich sporting history.

Here, you’ll be able to browse a litany of print, audiovisuals and electronic resources across different genres. Everything from training and coaching, to biographies and stories, to science and medical topics, are available to visitors. Besides these cool resources, you can also enjoy video viewing stations, virtual sports stations, giant chess and checkers and a kids zone that the public can use. These make for great wet weather activities that you can enjoy with family and friends.

Parents can also sign their kids up for the different programs every month. Variety is key to keeping learning interesting for the little ones, and these activities will be sure to keep boredom at bay and introduce new ways to learn through play. Here are some of the other activities happening in October:

  • Subbuteo Table Football: 10 October, 10.30am to 6pm
  • Sport Stacking: 30 October, 2pm – 6pm

Parents are also invited to squeeze a workout in, as the Sports Hub offers a variety of regular fitness programs, from HIIT sessions to Fight-Do classes. Check out their website for more information.
