Have you been feeling like switching it up in your fitness routine? Perhaps you’ve hit a plateau in your fitness journey and you’re open to trying something new. Just a three-minute walk from Stadium MRT will take you to the
Sports Hub Gym. Here, you’ll find rows upon rows of Technogym machines — the very same found in established gyms worldwide and are used by those serious about fitness. Just ask Naomi Osaka, Maria Sharapova, and Serena Williams, who trained here while they were in the country for the WTA Finals in 2015. There are many different ways to sweat it out here, and we’ve gathered some of the interesting facilities you can find.

A gym for any fitness level
Besides the usual weights, squat racks and treadmills, the Sports Hub Gym is one of the few gyms in Singapore with Wattbikes, a stationary bike that helps cyclists improve their road cycling techniques. Those after a low-impact workout can opt for the motion trainers here, which are a more joint-friendly alternative to the treadmill. The gym also prides itself on having equipment always readily available, with a considerably minimal wait time for gym members — that means no queues!

Kids can work out too
Getting fit with the whole family is easy at the Singapore Sports Hub. There’s something for all ages, and the little ones can stay active too with programmes like the Kids Dance Class and Sports Hub Tots and Kinder Play programmes. The Sports Hub Tots and Kinder Play is a brand new programme that aids the development of stability, locomotion and object control in kids through play. The little ones will be under the watchful eye of expert coaches who specialise in sport and movement in the early years of childhood, and classes are suitable for children as young as 12 months (adult accompanied) to six years old.

Take your training to new terrain
Also available is the Sports Hub SURFSET Fitness. Those up for a challenge will enjoy this surfboard workout which combines the cardio benefits of spinning, the versatility of TRX suspension training, and all the fun of a Zumba class. Each workout is designed to push your limits for ultimate results, along with the added challenge of keeping your balance.

Got your own idea for a workout? You can also rent a studio in the Sports Hub Gym.

Ready to get a good workout in? Head over to their website to sign up for a gym membership and get a free gym towel (while stocks last), body composition analysis, and a 30-minute introduction to the gym. Usage of the gym facilities at the Sports Hub Gym is exclusive to gym members only, and the gym membership is valid for a year. Individuals will need to sign up for a gym membership to purchase a 30-day gym pass or a daily pass.
